The last message I got from Matt stating he was opening a new Paypal address to make payments toward a partial refund while he worked on finally shipping the model to me. I have already talked to the Texas postal services in Plato, Texas and am having the paperwork on filing official citations against him for fraud in his business practices sent to my home.

Since posting this information on dakkadakka, Matt has contacted me rather quickly to try and speak to me over the phone regarding the matter - something which I am simply not comfortable with. It will take a week or so for the paperwork to get to me (and likely a few days after to get everything compiled), but if he has not made things right by the time I get it done I am sending it and letting the authorities handle the rest. I'll wash my hands of the whole thing at that point; I've stressed enough over this deal-gone-wrong long enough.

So, if anyone successfully finalises a deal with Matt in the near future, please PM me and let me know as it will help prove that he has taken my funds and ignored our transaction well beyond the reasonable amount of time, constituting fraud.

*Update*

Still nothing. Just emails claiming more of the same.

There are several people that have done business with Redstarone fully prepared now to file charges against him criminally as a Class B misdemeanor. I am giving him until Monday night to finish this, or my paperwork (as with the others that have come together through a thread on Dakkadakka.com) will be filed, and he will have to answer to the authorities.

I have officially run out of patience.

Tracking number for certified letter containing refund has been mailed. I will update again when payment is recieved. Thanks all.

Honestly, I'd prefer that it be posted publicly, per the BTR reporting rules:
