Another bad trade from the_trader

Agreed upon the purchase of 10 Warhammer 40K Necron immortals. I was wary of his new account status, so I only offered to send half payment up front.

Payment sent 11/20/08. No contact since then, no items received. Most recent PM requesting an update hasn't even been read. Have opened an unreceived item dispute through PayPal.

Can you tell me when these Necrons went in the mail? I know they're coming from the UK, so I understand that shipping may be a little slow, however, we did finalize this deal two weeks ago. If I have an idea of when they were shipped, I could better estimate when to expect them.

Personally, I am slightly nervous sending payment point blank because you are so new to BTown and don't have a detailed feedback history. What do you think would be the most equitable means for both of us to arrange shipping and payment? Are you comfortable shipping the necrons and then having me send payment once they arrive? Or we could so something like I send half of the payment, you ship the models, and then I can send the other half when they arrive.

From what I have seen around BTown recently, the going rate for models in this sort of condition is 40-50% off of retail, so how does $60 shipped sound?

In what sort of condition are the models (painted, assembled, unpainted, etc) and how much are you looking for? I would be interested in all 10 immortals and possibly the destroyer lord.

I'd just like to add that he was offering to sell me a bunch of Space Wolf bitz for fairly cheap and he insisted that I send half the payment first, I'm now glad that I didn't.
