Bartertown contest - thoughts?

Okay guys, here's the latest insanity from Bartertown Labs...
The Bartertown Conversion Contest.
Theme: Represent your Btown screen name in 25/28/30mm scale.
Rules:
1. You must convert your own model
2. Models must be at least X% converted (the judges will determine yay-or-nay if something is close)
3. You can use any parts from any manufacturer you want.
4. Models must NOT be painted. This is a conversion contest, not a painting contest (and we all know how paint covers many converting sins).
5. The moderators, Adam, and I will be the judges. Submissions are digital pictures (front and back are good).
6. You must only use GW bits and can't interchange LOTR with other GW lines.
Yeah right. You all know there is NOOOOOO #6.
7. The funnier it is, the better.
What's the prize? Well, for now...it's our secret. So, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter - good idea, bad idea, any additional rules, that sort of thing.

~~~sounds like a great idea.
I've been thinking about putting up some sort of avatar here for quite a while, and this may actually get me off my ass & to work on both a cool conversion, & a pic that could serve as my new avatar img.
my only concern is rule 7.
is funny absolutely necessary?!?
ah well
sounds like a blast...and I think that everyone who enters should get a free lifetime membership to bartertown.
Oooh
That sounds interesting... and fun.
Do they have to be G rated? I'm thinking of quite a few different possibilities for MagickalMemories, but they all have slaanesh taint. <G>
I think better would be a specific category. rather than convert a model to fit your screen name (what would TM Adam do? Tina Turner standing atop a wire food strainer while an IG fights an Ogre Kingdom bull within? <G>), convert a model to fit a theme.
What's the next big holiday? Okay, July 4th is out, since we're all international and sophisticated and stuff (And we don't want to rub it in the Brits' noses. Do we?).
Or, it could just be to convert a champion or something.
It just doesn't make it fair for people who have random number strings as a name.
But I love the idea of a conversion contest.
What about a mutant?
~~~I think that tying this to your screen name is what makes it interesting...and for those who have less personal or creative names, the creativity will be in how you explain how your conversion IS representative of your handle.
"r4h2p3 is my screen name, so my model has 4 Right arms, 2Heads & 3 Pen...well you get the picture."
figuring out a away to make it work is what could make a winner out of even the outwardly blandest of names.
When does it start?

Linrandir and I have chatted and we think that if the content is around what is provided from stock GW figs, then that's ok. It doesn't have to be fuzzy bunnies and butterflies, you can go a bit further than GW, but keep it reasonable.
Penny-Arcade has a cartoon for every situation:

Start converting, I'll get prizes together and let you know.
Thanks,
