altho i know this isnt 100% significant to this forum i was just wondering if anyones had prolblems with non sending sellers on ebay, and how/if they were resolved by ebay. imm having a problem currently, the guy shut down his account, and it doesnt seem like ebay or either of the fraud agencies ive contacted are doing much.....
and before u ask-the transaction was check, not paypal, but i do have a copy of the check which my bank sent me......
btw, his name is andrew kaplan, and he lives in ga. i can get his old sn as well if u need it, plus i have his address and phone number. if u come across this person anywhere, do not do business with him.ill be posting some evidence later in the bad trader secition if i get a chance, just so no one else has to go through this if they happen to run into him......

Don't bother doing anything in the Bad Trader forum.
If you read the rules of posting there first (as everyone who posts there is supposed to), you will see that the Bad Trader forum is for Bartertown initiated trades only. Any others will be nuked with extreme prejudice.
As far as your Ebay experience goes... You have a fraud case against him.
Call your local police department, then call his.
Speak to someone at YOUR bank about following up with a fraud report.

I was burned on ebay for $250 a couple years ago. As far as I know the punk went to jail. Ebay (then) reimbursed $200. Ive heard that they cover more now so be sure to notify them as well. They do however drop you with several fees and take that from the money they are covering even if they didnt cover the full lost amount. For example i was reimbursed $200 of $250 but they still charged me $20 and I only got $180 back. They are punks too.

You're lucky they reimburse you at all.
Most places it's "buyer beware."

Okay, I'm not exactly sure what all you said there.
You might want to try using whole, actual words and more punctuation than just a question mark.
What I *DID* understand, though, is debit card transaction.
If you use your debit or credit card for any transaction and you are scammed, you'll want to try to file a regulation E complaint with your bank.
Reg. E allows you to dispute any transaction done on your debit card that you did not authorize, basically. I have, honestly, not heard of anyone attempting it under these circumstances but it's worth a try. YOu should also ask your banking representative about fraud claims.
