Bartertown now has an official Facebook Group to support real-time trade discussions and community interaction. Please read the following carefully before joining or participating.
Access & Approval Process
Anyone may join the Facebook Group. Unlike the Discord, approval comes automatic.
Trade Posting Rules
If you have an active Bartertown post, we recommend linking it at the top of your Facebook Ad post.
You are expected to follow both:
Trade Safety Notice
Bartertown recommends all trades be concluded on the Bartertown.com site.
While trade discussions may begin on Facebook, final agreements and references should be completed through Bartertown to be eligible for BTRs (Bad Trade Reports) or Back-Out reports.
Staff will not monitor or moderate trade discussions on Facebook beyond basic moderation (e.g., spam, language, etc.).
Important:
Bartertown is not responsible for any trades, sales, or purchases conducted through this Facebook Group. Only trades that are concluded on Bartertown.com are covered by the site's protections and dispute processes. By participating in the Facebook Group, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk, and Bartertown will not offer support for any issues arising from off-site transactions.
Advertiser Policy
Only verified Advertisers may advertise any business, product, or service.
Non-advertisers caught advertising will receive an immediate timeout or ban.

- One post per week PER ITEM (bumping allowed, within reason) - if your post already exists, don't post it twice!
- Use proper tags and descriptive titles
- Update your post once the item is sold or acquired
