Important! New reference posting changes!

Let me know if you run into any problems with posting!

Changes:
1. When you post a reference, a PM is sent to that person's inbox. I found that using email was incredibly inefficient since 90% of the emails got caught by spam filters, this way you can be sure that they see that there is a new message.
2. You can only post a reference by username ( because of #3 ).
3. If that person's username does not exist or if you got it wrong, it gives you a list of possible usernames close to the one you input.

What do you think?

Thanks,

TrademasterAdam

I don't know if the posts are showing up - I can't see the reference I just left for one trading partner.

I can't leave a reference immediately for my other recent trading partner because I don't have a username - we communicated only through email.

Who did you leave a reference for?

I'll work on putting the post by email thing back in there.

Cool - I think both methods would be very useful. That or a member look-up function.

My first reference was for Larry Prinzivalli, username Fang.

Adam, I just reposted the data and everything was fine. Maybe the problem was with my computer. Sorry.

By the way, a while back you were consolidating email addresses. I have a reference to me as "unknown.com", and another from spaint@po-box.mcgill.ca Any chance of consolidating these?

Cheers,
Steve

All of these issues have been fixed ( or should be ). Post here or PM me if you find there is still a problem.

Locked.
