Vote now on the new menu format, I've got my favorite, let me know which one you like better.

Option 1:

Option 2:
http://www.bartertown.com/testing/menutest2.php

Option 3: will be displayed horizontally across the top of the page, but you get the idea.

At first glance, I liked option 3, but upon closer inspection, i found option 1 far more appealing.

Am I missing something

Am I missing something?
They all seemed a bit... blah... to me.
I had no idea what I was looking at or where anything would be found.
Until I accidentally moved my mouse over a word and a pop down menu came up, I thought I was just looking at words on a screen. I thought it was a typo in the link or something.

I like it the way it is right now. What's wrong with the way the forums are set up right now?

Those are just demos, they don't go anywhere or do anything. Right now from this screen here, you can't go back to the main news page, you can't get to the discussion page and crap if you'd ever be able to find a "contact me" page that works so you can email one of us and yell at us.

I just want one simple title bar across the whole site. I'm working on some epic 40k stuff right now ( orks! orks! orks! ), I'll get to it later tonight hopefully and throw some real stuff out there ( painting is important ).

But...

But couldn't you just add links for those 3 things?

I just really like this menu format. Maybe BECAUSE it's low tech.

Excessive drop down menus (like every windows syste since 95) get on my nerves.

... not that I'd leave BTown over it, though. <G>
