Yeah same here. I tried posting two different references but they never showed up on the other person.

Your rating is tied to your email in your profile. If you change the email in the profile, then all your ratings are still stuck under your old profile. Have you changed emails lately? Let me know what your old one was and your new one is and I'll move your ratings over.

Hmmm...

I don't know if you guys should trust this "Bartertown" guy.

He's got a fairly low rating and, upon closer inspection, it appears as if he's left almost all of them himself.

Lin, I think you should look into this guy. Seems kinda shady to me.

I posted five different refeces and all but one showed up, so I posted it a second time and again nothing. It was for Sgt. Elias, christopher.morrison@sdc-dsc.gc.ca

Thanks :)

You're funny MagickalMemories. I don't really care about references, most of them are under my old email addresses and most people don't bother posting them for me when we trade. I spend more time fixing other people's references than fixing my own.

Linrandir handles all of the content, sets policies ( like number of posts per week, who gets banned, etc. ), gets advertisers, and more. I handle the technical work, upgrades, new functionality and try and help with advertising externally ( putting BT on other people's pages ) but mostly stay hidden in the background ( Linrandir is your leader, not me ).

The reason why I have so many references for myself is that I was testing out the new reference posting script.

Let me know if you run into any problems with posting!

Changes:
1. When you post a reference, a PM is sent to that person's inbox. I found that using email was incredibly inefficient since 90% of the emails got caught by spam filters, this way you can be sure that they see that there is a new message.
2. You can only post a reference by username ( because of #3 ).
3. If that person's username does not exist or if you got it wrong, it gives you a list of possible usernames close to the one you input.

What do you think?

Thanks,
