Need input on Trading References Score

While I'm trying to redo the train wreck of a title bar, I need you guys to think about how we can change the trading references score.

Currently:
+2 for good trade
+0 for neutral trade
-10 for bad trade

I'm going to fix the reference details screen to focus on what the trade rating of the person giving you the trade is at. If someone has a rating of 0 and a post count of 1, and he gives you a bad reference, that's obviously someone who's just being angry and not a real person to be trusted.

Option 1
+2 for good trade with someone of a rating of 10 or more.
+1 for a good trade with someone of a rating of 10 or less.
+0 for a neutral trade
-5 for a bad trade with someone of a rating of 10 or less.
-10 for a bad trade with someone of a rating of 10 or more.

Option 2
Have the trade rating post like:
( *good* / *neutral* / *bad* )
( 60 / 1 / 2 ) == 60 good references, 1 neutral, 2 bad, these would be color coded like a stoplight.
+1 good count for a good trade with someone
+1 neutral count for a neutral trade
+1 neutral count for a bad trade with someone of a rating of 10 or less.
+1 bad count for a bad trade with someone of a rating of 10 or more.

What do you think?

I like the stoplight color rating system.. you can see how a person has done, overall, without needing to resort to algebra to figure out their rating.

Option 2 I think. Gives enough information for a quick decision as to whether pursue a trade or not. Just my two pence.

If option 2 can be worked into the system, I think it would be better overall.

Option 2.

Looks like a good system.

Should also maybe think about incorporating a system to deter ITL abuse (such as spamming someone with negative trade refs because they were "rude"). Maybe something like the same IP can't report a bad trade against the same person within a certain period, or some such.

I like them both, whatever is faster cause I got alot of refs to post.

Fixed now, the date was broken, that's easy to fix. The submitter name won't show up anymore, it will be your username once I fix the report.

Well as a fairly new person here with no score yet I favor the second option. I feel the first one would penalize the guys I try to give a good reference to because I am new.

Well, it appears I am the odd man out, so far.
I prefer option 1, except that I think positive is positive. I thing ALL positives should be worth 2. I like the splitting negatives, though.

So, if it was altered slightly, I'd prefer option 1. Otherwise, option 2 is best, IMO.

Since the rash of nasty "i'm giving you negative feedback 'cause I dont like you" thats gone on, I favor the second option.

Option 2 would be quicker to read and understand.
