Jason "Lee" Ticknor Looking for info.

Post by drferling »

Hello all.

I made a trade on the English Confrontation Forum with one Jason Lee. Well low and behold no package and no contact yet. I did a google search, ended up here, and procedded to kick myself for not checking. I am just beginning this fun process and am looking at where I should begin.

Should I post the Private Messages that he sent to me or all of them from him to me and me to him?

Who can I get in touch with on a telephone? Is the PD still the best place to start?

Thanks for any info you have provide,

Jay L.

Scan through the bad trader threads.. especially the ones about Jason Ticknor. Oh... Especially "Jason Ticknor's Request."
You should find that one appropriate.
All the information you need is in those threads.

You can start by posting his physical address here.

After that, please post a link to the forums (preferably the exact page) where he had an ad, or you had an ad.

After that, please post his username on those forums here, and the email (if any) you had contact with him through (his email).

Then follow the links in my signature.

Then contact YOUR local police dept. AND HIS local police dept.

'Sid... With all due respect...
I think you were too helpful.

Not only is Ticknor a WELL KNOWN perpetrator, the OP has a rating of 80+. Forget the fact that, admittedly, he knew he should have checked up on him. He's been around long enough to know the deal.

There are multiple threads about Ticknor, as well.

He could have gone to any of those threads and gotten the info. himself, instead of being baby-stepped through it.
NO insult intended to the OP, or 'Sid here. I'm just stating what I see as simple facts.

Anyone who uses BTown and gets stung by Ticknor while he's using KNOWN aliases and/or addresses... was just asking for it.
(NOT deserved it... Nobody DESERVES it... Well, Jason deserves SOMETHING, but not to be scammed!)

Some people just do not know when too quit. Either Ticknor has some major issues and needs to be removed...*censored for impolite content* or he need major help or he's a major butt who need major help.

I'll go with he's a major butt  I hope it all comes out well for you in the end...( no butt puns intended)

Hello all,

The screen name he is using is:

Otisdriftwood

Here is a link to the post:

Thank you for all of the replies. Sid,specifically, thank you very much for your helpful information.

Just to let people know. I am not looking to have a hand holding get together here. I am merely looking for other people who have had a problem and what they did to resolve the issue. I am willing to bet that some people have tried multiple things before something worked. Also, this is my first time even visiting the bad trader forum as I believe that 99.9% of the people you'll ever meet do the right thing. If my questions are going to frustrate you then please abstain from reading the posts.

Thanks to all for providing me with information so for. Hopefully I can write back in a few days and say everything worked out fine and infat Mr. Ticknor is a good, albiet slow to ship, trader.

Thanks,
Jay L.

Np, drferling.

Thank YOU for the info on this. I like to compile everything I can on this guy. Sad to see he's hitting the Rackham boards again.

Let me know how it turns out.

Also...how long has it been since you sent him stuff, and is he still replying to your emails/pms? Also, I still need you to post his physical address here, please.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sent on the 11th here. He received it on the 13th. He has stated that he has not shipped yet and that I had better be patient if I want to get anything.

I understand when things come up and getting to the post office is a pain, but when agreeing to ship next day (the 11th) with confirmation. It is now the 17th and nothing has been done.

I shipped to:

Jason Lee
6306 Mansfield Dr
Greendale WI 53129

I am still in touch with him and have requested that he ship to me with 24 hours with delivery confirmation. I have stated that either returning what he has of mine, or sending the figures he promised would be acceptable.

Thursday evening I will be posting all PMs, filing fraud paper work and contacting both my and his PDs. I will also be sending a certified letter to his adddress asserting my right to receive my goods. (The first step on the way to small claims court.)

Also, possibly of note he offered to show me pics of another army he painted, as a basis for the quality of figs he has here. The pics are up on ebay under the name "xspagsx".

Thanks,
Jay L.

Awesome, thank you.

Now I have an ebay account of his as well.

I had a feeling this was how he moved his 'goods.'

He's basically "fencing" the stuff through eBay. If anyone on here recently traded him something or knows someone who has, I'd look through the items still posted to see if what he sold was theirs.
