This is a known issue.

Leave your reference again. This time, omit any apostrophe's.

There aren't any.

Update: It appears that the problem is either a) too much text in the ref and/or using a dollar sign in the trade amount field.

Probably the dollar sign. IIRC, that is already in place there, and the box is for numbers and, of course, a decimal.

If its a known issue why hasn't it just been patched?

Dude. I don't know.

I'm just a member, like you.

Keep in mind, though, that the guys "in charge" do it for free.

True but that still doesn't mean that you can't do something like post a list of "dos adn don'ts" on the trade ref page.

thats what the discussion area is for, if you have ever read any of the other posts of roughly the same thing you will "usually" find this as well in other threads.

and no since of griping about it because now you know and there is another thread telling the next person.

Pixelgeek, can you post the rest of that error message here?

Thanks,

I can try to duplicate it...

And it didn't work. So can someone delete the obvious test ref I just posted for Nightlord?

All the rest of the error was a SQL dump and I didn't post it originally for security reasons as I didn't want to post table names etc in public.
