Games Day is on the list, but also looking for food/shopping/attraction insight.

There's always the Cubs, if they're in town.
The team sucks, but the stadium is iconic.

went to DC some time ago. Tried to go to the ESPN dinner place. Jammed up for a 'private' event. Asked a store clerk about some place to eat. She sent us two blocks down one street and one block over to a small mom and pop joint thats NOT on the tourist map. Have to say GF (now wife) and I had a blast at the place.

Basiically what Im saying is DONT go to the tourist traps and go to a local.
