PayPal alternative - Dwolla

I ran across this article the other day:
http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/Articles/ ... aspx#page1
This is a company that wants to make transactions easier and cheaper than they currently are through the credit card system, which PayPal uses. The best part? $0.25 flat transaction fee, regardless of the amount sent. That is less than the interchange fee PayPal is charged. No more 3%+ fees from Paypal! I've already opened my account and will use it for future Bartertown transactions.
I hope other traders/sellers are as excited as I am about this service. Alas, it is only available in the US right now due to all of the regulatory hurdles that are put in the way of competition...

Barring any major changes to the way they do business, it looks like Paypal is out of my world. Account has been set up

After reading the article and checking with the Better Business Bureau, I signed up for an account.
I'll let everyone know how a trade involving dwolla goes.

Wow.
I'm firmly entrenched with PayPal, having both a debit card and Line of Credit through them, but I'm thinking more and more about opening a dwolla, too.

This is a singular example, but its still a large amount of pie on Paypal's face.

What's your point? I think PayPal's acting perfectly reasonably here.
Clearly, that person is trying to help someone without being a legally recognized non-profit organization. That's just wrong!

So it's been a week or two since some of you have said you'd be making the switch- how are you guys finding it? Easy to use? Any problems?

I have been loving it so far. It is a bit of work to get people to sign up, but well worth it if you are selling even $60 or $70 worth of items.
Dwolla says they charge 25 cents, and they do indeed charge 25 cents for all kinds of transactions.

My only complaint about it is the processing time. 2-4 business days on each end. If they cut it down to 1-2, it will be much more useful for me for a variety of purposes.
