Board Update! (Report issues here)
Hello all,
Sorry for the unannounced board update. We had huge issues with Apache, PHP and MySQL all at once so we punted and upgraded the whole lot to the latest version.
I'm adding back in the rest of the board features (ads, trade references, etc.), give me a few days to integrate the rest of the board features. Until then, I've turned the board on so you can continue trading.

WooHoo! Been missing my fix. Glad you're back up. Looking forward to seeing my PMs so I can complete a trade I was dealing on.

Re: Board Update!
That sounds horrible Adam. Thanks for all the work to fix it
Re: Board Update!
Great! I'm reading this to mean that we do not yet have access to PM'ing etc. Thanks for working so hard to get it back up and going!

Re: Board Update!
Adam, Thank you for all your hard work getting us back!
I mean it that is some tough combination of issues. Apache, well that alone can be a nightmare.
I do get this error trying to access messages. Not sure if that one of the features you still need to add.

Thanks again

Re: Board Update!
I too am getting the error the above posters are getting when trying to access my PMs. Not sure if this is a site wide thing atm or person by person. So, just tossin my name in as getting the same errors, if its by person. Thanks and glad to see B'town back up!!

Hi, it also appears that there's no limit for posting: there are multiple posts by the same user in a row, now.
(And yes, thanks for the work!)

Thanks for getting the boards back up! Bartertown is like a drug for me & I've needed my fix. I was starting to get scared something horrible happened and my favorite site would be gone forever...
Glad that's not the case!

YAY for PMs working again!
Thank you so much, Adam.
Thank you so much, Adam.
It's a rule of thumb for trades: check my feedback, I'll check yours. Lower rating ships first.
If you're paying via Paypal and want buyer protection, please pay the fees yourself and don't take them from my end. I'll do the same.
Don't like my offer? Don't get offended-- make me a counter-offer instead!

Re: Board Update!
I'm just glad the site is up! I thought something was wrong on my end.. lol
I follow the idea LOWER references ships/pays first. It keeps things safer for anyone, as I would never desire to have to start over again. Nor would I want to loose the trust of any fellow gamers. That is how I ended up with my reference collection! I always follow through with my deal!
