I like the new titles!!!
Any chance of seeing what they all are and what it takes to move up levels?
I see expert and journeyman trader, as well as site admin and mod. What else is there?
Any more news on the possibility of an upgrade for paying customers?
Thanks,
Ekister

I see a problem with it though, in that it only appears to track existing posts. I tend to delete my old posts that have become dated or irrelevent and it reduces the number of tracked postings with my username. It makes me look like i don't participate b/c I clean up after myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it goes by ITL rating and not number of posts, no??

OKay.
First off, I am and always WILL be a part of said Two percent.
Secondly... WTF? Why does newbie NidMaster have 'Sid's title? that ain't right. Especially with him being new.
Nothing personal, NidMaster. I'm sure it is some sort of a computer glitch.
...and, thanks for adding the title function, Adam. It's pretty cool!
Eric
not sure if its ITL or not

If you check carefully you will see that Magikal and I have the same ITl rating, yet we have different titles.
Perhaps a combo of ITL and posts?
I also noticed that the vigilante title was now shared. Interesting?
Lots of fun and I really love it, but perhaps a scale so all of us know where we sit and why.
I think this will be an excellent function to use as reference and shipping.
Thanks again,
Ekister

I am guessing that it is ONLY based on Total Posts. Check our differences. It is in the area of 300.
My guess is that if I got 8 neg's (puting me at an 8 rating), I'd probably still show up as an expert trader (up until the point that Lin banned me

).

And now, another Q&A session from a
Person In Charge.
Glad you like the subtitles, I went through a few iterations before settling on these.
They are based on total post count. Yes, if you delete the older posts (which we appreciate but the system does automatically anyway) your ranking will not increase. If you do it, your post count stays low. If the system does it, it is considered "pruning" and the post count increases appropriately.
I don't know why NidMaster has Sid's title. That has changed and I will discuss it with MB and Adam... No offense, Nidmaster. Sid earned that title. *shrugs* We can get some new snarky titles for the 40k.com moderators.
MM: You're welcome.
Operating from memory...and then looking it up, we have:
New Trader (0)
Trade Novice (20)
Apprentice Trader (35)
BTown Regular (50)
Journeyman Trader (100)
Resident Trader (300)
Expert Trader (500)
Millenium Trader (1000)
These in no way reflect ITL ratings. We have the capacity, as you've seen, to supercede the default rankings with special titles.
We also have some interesting things in mind for 40k.com which we may port over to Btown.
