This thing is GORGEOUS.

He's apparently making 5 variants of this thing as well. This one is the only one with a skull head I think. I really want one, but I'll probably wait for one that looks more "knight" like. He has a Crusader variant coming down the pipe, but not sure on the time for it.

It's about a hundred times more awesome in terms of detailing than the old Leviathan kits, but so tiny!
Makes me sad.

That is a VERY nice looking model. How close is it to a titan in 40k? Looks like if the size is right, it would make an excellent chaos titan with a little conversion work.

Yep. This is what the old Leviathans from Dreamforge looked like:

Those are the Armorcast Reaver and Warhound titans that it is next to.
GW bent Dreamforge over because their giant robots were, according to GW, too similar to Imperial Titans. They're close, but not IP infringing close. Ah well.
I had hoped that DF would go back and redesign at the same scale.

Ah not that be The Judge. Warlord scale "Titan"
a truely amazing model and a monster up close.
Though they did put out a few smaller scale ones too, think theres pics of one in the 2010 siegeworld album.

I don't know about that (re: too expensive).
It depends on how you mean it.
Do you mean it's too expensive for you? Meaning you don't want to spend that kind of money on one kit? In that case, I agree. I'm the same.
Do you mean it isn't worth that? If so, what variables are you using to quantify that train of thought?
Why I could see it being a problem:
It's not GW. If you play GW games, you aren't using this thing outside your local group.
It's a lot of money for a single kit.
That's about it, IMO.
Compare it to a Warhound, which is what many people will use it for. It's about $150 cheaper than a kitted out Warhound. That's a lot of money saved.
For me, the only reasons I'd see for saying it isn't worth it is if (a) you just don't see how someone could pay $350 for one model kit or (b) you only play at GW's or with a group that strictly does not allow proxying.
Just IMO, of course.

If someone says you can't use this in an Apocalypse game because it isn't GW then they need to get a life. Apocalypse is supposed to be the less serious face of 40K. It's not a tournament.

I know.
But, you know... There are *those* fanboys out there.
Plus, if it's an event at a GW store... fuggedabowdit.
