That's a bit ridiculous.

It's not a bad word by itself. However, the trouble is that in the four days before I put up the ban, I had deleted about 14 accounts using g@y in the account name. Frankly, I got tired of it and so I added that word. I can try to loosen the restrictions somewhat, and I do apologize for the obnoxious inconvenience. :-(

I just hate spammers. And especially pr0n spammers. I hope a special Hell waits for them.

So, what happens if we use the word "Assassin."

What if I break it up: ASS ASS IN?

There's a language filter?
*PMing obscenities to himself*
Wow, i never noticed that before. Is that new?

I don't find anything offensive about the word G A Y, but if blocking it helps avoid spamming, that seems like a good call (except for the blocking Taggerd's street part). I didn't realize there were nearly so many problems with spammer accounts. I guess that's good moderation in action. Kudos on shielding our eyes from the spams.

BTW, nearly half of my test words made it through the filter. If you guys really feel the filter's important, you might want to go looking for a better list of rules.

Maybe somebody here wants to trade for your house. Is it pro-painted?

If you do move, just be sure you don't move to *edit* St or *edit* ave. It would really suck to go through the trouble of moving, only to find that your new address gets filtered as well.
