Well, i bought some items off someone named Matt towns on here his email being mathion@excite.com and thank god i did it through paypal just so i have some proof or alittle bit of a leg to stand on. But i have not heard from him since last sunday on this deal and he already has my paypal payment.

I was just wondering if any of you have ever traded or bought from him and or heard anything good or bad about him?
i bought some dwarves from him because it was a good deal and didnt think to look anything up first and do not see his name or e-mail on here at all.


Any info would be great!

yeah i know thats the thing though

when i look him up on here with name and email i find nothing.


it was a dumb move on my part to do an instinct trade/buy because of the want for the models and the good deal.

but yes i understand the user name would be more of a help i wish i could have one to put it but just thought maybe someone would reconize the email and or name of the person..

When I did a search with his email it did not come up with any references.

You may want to PM MagickalMemories, porkuslime, or Linrandir (or all three at once) with the information you have (email, address [if you have one], real name) and see if they can track him down.

mathion@excite.com is his email and Matt towns is his name..

and he said he contacted me through bartertown actually.
i will wait and see what else comes up if i cant get ahold of him until tomorrow..

Hopefully he just had something come up that he is going to correct this. and i feel dumb for going with such and quick deal and not taking more time to look into him on here or ask more questions.

just thought maybe someone on here might know the name.

Good find Stanislav, though your link only takes me to the check reference page.

Matbe this link would be better: ref_view.php?user_id=12286.

In the one reference that includes a name the name listed is Matt (of course no last name).

His last reference left was on 6/5/10 and it show he was last on line today at 11:55am (MST).

I say give it another day, you may want to pm porkuslime as well he is usually a bit more active on the weekends, and lets see where this goes.

And don't be so fast to praise paypal. He can take the $ out as soon as he got it and paypal CAN"T get it back. They can only put a hold on his account against FUTURE funds.

SO, if he is scamming you, you're SOL.

thanks so much everyone for looking into things and i know about paypal but if you send money from goods i have always gotten money back if i was screwed.

But wouldnt be the first time i got screwed from a deal.

i sent this person another email and said about how i would like to be notified or atleast responded to about the items, maybe something with them came up or what not so i will give til monday til i get overly excited.

Im just like most people that would like to get some kinda of clue as to what is going on.

but once again thanks everyone for taking the time to look some things up for me.

just incase anyone cares... i heard back from matt and i received all the models i talked to him things came up and everything worked out just incase anyone had trades with him or wanted to trade with him..


so he did come through on his trade and everything worked out great
