New Shipping Policy for Konflikt Terrain

Shipping.... It's quite a can of worms, isn't it?

Due to a completely horrific shipping gouge for a recent shipment, Konflikt Terrain's shipping policy will change to the following as of April 7, 2010:
All outgoing bitz and model shipments:
Will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation in the United States. I will gladly pay for this additional "piece of mind" myself when I am shipping bitz or models to you.
Will be shipped at either USPS parcel post (most boxed GW-type models) or first class (in the case of bitz). If a shipment of bitz does not qualify for first class (i.e., it's more than 16 ounces), I will be shipping at parcel post rates.
All other levels of USPS shipping are still available. If you need a level of service to ensure that an item makes it to you before an event, or have speedier shipping needs otherwise, I will have to ask that you pay for that service level fully.
WILL NOT BE INSURED automatically. Please let me know if you want insurance. It will run $1.75 for $50 insurance and $2.25 for $100 worth of insurance. If you desire more, I can get the exact amount from the post office.

Will be shipped at the CHEAPEST level of service via USPS.
All other levels of USPS shipping are still available. If you need a level of service to ensure that an item makes it to you before an event, or have speedier shipping needs otherwise, I will have to ask that you pay for that service level fully.
WILL BE INSURED for $100 worth of insurance. If you desire more, I can get the exact amount from the post office and ask that you cover it.

Will be sent via USPS Media Rate.
Will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation in the United States. I will gladly pay for this additional "piece of mind" myself when I am shipping your books, etc. to you.
All other levels of USPS shipping are still available. If you need a level of service to ensure that an item makes it to you before an event, or have speedier shipping needs otherwise, I will have to ask that you pay for that service level fully.
All incoming trades or sales:
If I am buying from you or trading with you, I expect nothing less than delivery confirmation for every box shipped or the cheapest method of shipment to save YOU money in our trade

Therefore, please send items to me with DC and the cheapest applicable level of service (first class bitz and parcel post models are great!!!). If I have need of things quickly, I am certainly willing to pay for a faster rate and will ask for a quote accordingly.
