The word "Cheap" in trade ads...
If I were all powerful I would limit the use of word "cheap" in all trade ads to mean at least 60% off retail prices. It sucks getting lured into an otherwise pointless trade ad by some guy using "cheap" or even worse "ultra-cheap" only to see his idea of cheap is more expensive than the Warstore's regular prices. Seriously people, if you want to throw around the word make your prices that back it up!!
The believer is happy, the doubter is wise.

I would agree here. This is very annoying. But, I doubt there is anything thing that we can do about it.
There really aren't any rules about using the word cheap. : ) Thanks!

LOL. I was just thinking the exact same thong. There are a few ads up right now like that. Offering " cheap" nut giving 20-25% off. Some of the stuff part assembled or with paint!! You gotta be kidding me.

Much like the phrase "pro-painted" on Ebay... you can't trust people's teasing descriptions.

Same here. I just keep thinking of that line in The Princess Bride from Inigo Montoya: "I do not think that word means what you think it does."

Oh yeah. "Pro-painted" is another good one. I've seen some armies listed as pro-painted that are table-top at best. My stuff is painted better. I must be a Pro-painter!!! LOL.themailedfist wrote:Much like the phrase "pro-painted" on Ebay... you can't trust people's teasing descriptions.
