I assume "last visited" means when they last visited bartertown, not when someone looked at their profile, correct?
I've been waiting for a response to an unread thread when the "last visited" time is more recent than when I sent the PM (and a reminder) by some time...

That is correct. "Last Visited" refers to their last visit to the site. If this is blank, then they've been visiting "hidden."
