Confrontation Miniatures Website

Post by perv »

Hello, I've put together a website listing the metal models and the older resin pieces Rackham did before they went pre-paint plastics (What a bad move :( ) but I'm not the wisest person when it comes to Rackham as GW Dwarfs are my speciality. I was wondering if there are any Rackham gurus here who could take a look and let me know if I've done anything wrong or missed anything out?

http://rackhamminiatures.yolasite.com/

I've used as many official pics as I can which I got on a CD and when its complete and everthings in the right place I will link the pics there to the large versions so each fig can be seen in much better detail.

There are 3 pics of figures located in the following link that I cant really identify, any info on them would be appreciated.

I have to add the resin scenery pieces which I have the pictures for but I dont know the names or how they were sold, singularly or in pairs etc, so if anyone knows anything about these pieces please get in contact with me.

I also need to add the ureleased pieces which I will do the photos for soon and theres a Daikinee Elf figure included with the Starter Paint Set which I will also do soon but were there any other figs release in paint sets?

As you can see my knowledge on Rackham is very limited so any help is greatly appreciated ;)

Many thanks

The 3rd pic is of the original lion guardsmen, three different sculpts in the blister. The 2nd is the wolfen crossbow #1. The first, wolfen predetor?, mine had a german card so I will have to acually look at it.

Thanks a lot mate ;) I'll add "Lion Guardsmen" to the page and search high and low for a pic of all 3 together.

The Crossbow Wolfen is listed on the Zinndex site as Wolfen Crossbow 2, is it definately Wolfen Crossbow 1? In the catalogues Crossbowman 1 and 2 are different and are the ones I've listed on the webpage so would it make sense to list this as number 3?

The first predator eh? Nice one, I can add him in easily enough cheers :)

Thanks for your help mate, those ones were really bugging me :)

Alahan Guard seems to be the correct title for them.
Wolfen Predator with two swords is the 1st one.
Not sure about the wolfen with crossbow, the difference between crossbow 1 and 2 was just the card.

Could allways ask the people over at dragon painting, thats where the old school rackham fans are now for the most part.

I'll pop them in as Alahan Guards 1, change the existing ones to 2 and add in the Predator tomorrow mate. If I can get the unreleased pics and Young Dwarfs photographed too it will be pretty much complete barring them resin pieces that no one seems to have ever owned.....

I'll contact Rackham first to see if they can help, didnt really want to as I've used pics from their catalogues on the site and if they're anything like GW they'll want my house, car and me doing slave labour for the rest of my life as compensation :) I'll contact them and if necessary flee the country ...... :)

Theres definately 3 different models for the Crossbowmen though, maybe it was the first one of its type like the predator model and is just "Crossbow Wolfen" whereas the others are 1 and 2 respectively. I only have the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 supplement catalogues so maybe it was in the 2001 or I think there was one before that as well. I know someone with the 2001 catalogue so will ask them to check it.

Thanks again for your help, much appreciated ;)
