Any interest in a (not) painting blog?
Long story short I game ALOT of different sytems/periods and I employ alot of painters.
I started a blog to review what I get painted and to advise on how to get things painted.
Its my sort of but not painting blog.

sorry man, but I don't quite understand what you're offering.
By "employ" do you mean you get alot of your minis painted by services or that you are a service with several painters? Either way, I'm interested.
I'd very much like to see examples of similar items painted by different studios in a side-by-side...without putting up the cash myself.
Where do I find your blog?

My .02 - It's always better to seek out a lot of painters, pick a couple you like and email them rather than post an ad. As far as I can tell MPP and BK are the only two that actively check and post in the Painting wanted forum.
I will be watching this, it is interesting.

Well, from personal experience I get at least 5-6 different companies/people responding to my posts. I usually have a good range to pick from. I also usually have to edit my post saying I found a service to stop the PMsGMMStudios wrote:My .02 - It's always better to seek out a lot of painters, pick a couple you like and email them rather than post an ad. I met a guy on here a year or so ago who was wanting to start up his own painting service, I ended up giving him so much work, I am his only client.govannon wrote:I see that you are having Dark Angels painted. He does such a good job at such a good price that I try to keep him busy. He is also doing my Tau.
I will post pictures later on the blog and do a post on him.

So it's basically a site to help gamers find a mini painter that is good for them. With examples and critiques. You seem to be on your way to becoming the first miniature painting critic.
