quick details, i offered minis, he agreed, then changed his mind, and wanted fewer, after a total was sent
then he cancelled the entire deal..

i've already submitted it to the mods, and was approved for posting as a backout.

if anyone of you have dealt with me, you know the care and time i tack to pack your minis. now i've wated the time and supplies to pack all the minis.

i've deleted both mine and his names and addresses.

I just wanted to let you know, don't worry about this trade, I'm gettng a bunch of stuff from a few others, and the whole no paypal thing really complicates thing on my end too since I work until after the Post Office closes every day but Saturdays, so getting the Money Order would be problematic. Sorry again. If you ever decide to take PayPal, I'd gladly buy the rats from you. Thanks again.

I already got the others wrapped and packed.

I'm gonna have to unwrap them to find which is which; bone ripper will be easy.

Then I'll reweigh the package and LYK. It probably won't be untill at least tomorrow night. I have some things I need to do around the house; and I have to work tomorrow. [the wife's 'honey-do' list].

My laptop now is having problems and I'm going to have to reformat and reinstall vista...so hopefully I won't have any more problems with it.

Shipping is $10.55 for priorty mail with insurance and d/c.
There are too many minis to fit in the small flat rate box, and it's cheaper to go by weight than to use the the medium flat rate or the large flat rate boxes.

The minis with torches, 1 runner and the drummers are gone. Like I said that was an old list and i guess wasn't updated.
The 3 man command unit are plastic, the only metal is the banner. I thought you weren't interested in them.
The stormvermin champion isn't oop. Do you still want him? He's on the GW site.

No they definately are not those 4.

Mine all have the left foot forward with the left arm down and the halbard attached to the halberd.

So I guess they're out.

I know the minis aren't new, but I guess GW hasn't changed the minis design in a while.

I'll verify the minis and send you back a total with shipping. {i had a hard drive crash and the list is from a backup.}

they don't have the weapons attached. i find it easier to paint minis with arms and such not attached.

So far, I've been lucky not to be jerked around like that. It's stuff like this which are part of the reason I "include" shipping in my prices to speed the whole check out process.

I'd have to respectfully disagree. Looks like your first reply to him was on June 30th, the trade gets worked around for a few days as all the details are worked out. I don't see where Larro83 actually says "Yes, we have a deal". When Kturock puts up a list of agreed upon models, his response wasn't in agreement, it was a response that changed the list of items. A deal gets finalized quicker with someone else, so he needs to rework this one as well. He was very forthcoming and honest about what had happened on his side and apologized for it. So he gives a complete list of what he does need, and was quick to respond to Kturock's response that he'll need to unwrap and go back through the box. 4 days then pass, I don't see a follow-up PM from Kturock to try and get the deal finished up. Larro83 then responds on the 7th saying that he won't need his things, states why, again is honest and apologizes.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I know when I need a mass amount of things for an army I'm building, I start hitting up quite a few different people. I've probably PM'd about 10 or so people trading Space Marine stuff on Bartertown alone, not including Dakka, looking for a list of stuff I'm looking for right NOW. If one of those people gets back to me faster than the others, then I'm going to tell the 9 other people that sorry, I got a certain portion from another trader. There's no way that I'd accept being called a 'deadbeat trader'.

Perhaps you're annoyed that you couldn't be offering up these models to another person, because it was being discussed with someone else? Why wait for the first guy to decide? Personally, my stuff is available garage-sale style. It's not yours until I 100% KNOW that you're sending me something, whether it be $$ or models. If I'm shipping first, then it's not yours until I say I'll be shipping it out to you. In the meantime, I'll be entertaining all offers. Joe-Gamer #1 may want my Predator, but doesn't like the idea of $20 plus shipping, and he only kinda wants it. Joe-Gamer #2 is building an army for a tourney in a month and needs that Predator ASAP. He PM's during negotiations with #1, says he wants it, ready to paypal. I'm not going to wait around for #1 to make up his mind. I understand that this may not be how all traders are going to conduct business, but if you decide to wait around for #1 to make up his mind, you may end up missing the sale with #2 completely.

Yes. He does inquire about some models not on the list, but CONFIRMS that he is buying them by stating when payment will be sent. Although, kturock later informs him of other models he has, in response to the mention of models not on the list, nothing is ever stated about the trade being under renegotiation.
It's:
"Hey. I'll buy what you have listed. BTW, these (listed) models are missing. Why aren't they on the list?"
"Oh. I thought you didn't want them because [x]. I do have [y], though."
"Not intreested in [y]. Thanks."

Seems right to me.

With all do respect I have no idea what Lormax is talking about, maybe he is a smarter fella than I am but I went through the trade and pulled out some appropriate pms that seem to clearly state the existence of a trade. I added the emphasis. The fact that kturock took the time to renogiate is awesome. I think next time you should do like some people do and just charge everyone crazy high amounts for s&h rather than taking the time to save them some money. =)
