Decorated Brass Scorpion

Post by gardenninja »

Here's a Brass Scorpion that I did for a commission a little while ago, where I was essentially told to do my very best work with it. I really enjoyed doing all kinds of crazy freehand and filling those panels. Filling them with grotesque images that would please Khorne was really quite a bit of fun, and worked well with the theme that the mini already has going for it.

Anyway, here he is, with a slew of detail shots.

Also, I've posted him up on CMON for anyone who cares to vote.

That is....AWESOME! Don't even play 40k anymore, but still...
Lower rating? I ask that you ship first. Also, if I offer a stupidly good deal and you try to negotiate even lower...don't call it bad communication that you didn't get a reply. I deleted the message.

Hmm. Not nearly enough skulls painted on there.
LOL

In seriousness, though - Very cool!

Off to vote I go! Voting there goes up to 11. Right?

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

I know, I tried to get a couple more skull on there, but I couldn't fit them on.

Don't listen to the model snobs on CMoN. Unless you're part of their clique they'll vote you down just to spite you. Also, for them, models intended for gaming are anathema. See the comments on your base for example. They like plinths and dioramas and crap that would render the model useless for gaming.

I don't even bother going over there anymore as the airs they put on make me ill.

What he said. WOW!
If I don't get what I think I am getting you will be sending me money for me to ship it back to you. So be very certain I know what I am getting.

Also more of what I don't want doesn't make up for not getting what I agreed upon.

Either will result in negative feedback, posting of our records in the appropriate section of bartertown, and possible mailfruad. Otherwise don't trade with me.
