Bought my parents tickets to the premiere of the new Star Wars film for Christmas since they attended the original's opening (and it was the only film they have ever attending night 1.), my folks said they enjoyed it but later told me they didn't because the film was too loud. My brother who is a long haul trucker got laid over and didn't make it home for Christmas, and my folks knew I wanted a Bluetooth wireless headphones (like the Beats thing, but I was fine with a knockoff.) and they buy it, but my mom liked it so much she 'confiscated' it and bought me a pair of these cheap dollar store wired headphones as a 'replacement' (despite having plenty of them already.) and then flaunted it in my face that she took the gift bought for me. The other gift they got me was defective and it was so cheap, that when I returned it, I was informed it wasn't even going to be carried by the store that had it anymore.
Add to it that Christmas day is the day my grandmother died years ago, always kind of puts a damper on the holiday.
And a good friend of mine died on New Years day in a bathtub accident.
So yeah. It's been kinda crappy.
Cats and Chaos...they go together if you ask me.
