The mini looks even better in person! Gimli is already on the priming table and shortly thereafter will be spending some quality time with my at my painting table. I will send you pics when he is complete. :)

Cool! Yeah, I hate photographing GS... it always looks all weird-- I still need to get better at that.

Definitely looking forward to seeing him painted.

As promised, the Mounted Gimli is fully painted. :) I apologize for the quality of my camera pics, the models look much better in person.

VERY NICE. I am not surprised to find myself saying "Nice conversion!"

Looking great! The horse is really nicely blended, and I think he fits in with the unit nicely.

Mind if I use your finished images on my blog?

By all means, feel free. :) I just wish I had a better camera and photo-taking setup. Careful though, you may become a victim of your own success. You know nobody currently makes a mounted Gimli that I know of, lol!

Thanks, re: pics!

re: mounted gimli, hehe, pretty sure I couldn't cast those commercially without getting angry glares from multiple laywer teams, what with multiple companies being involved in LotR and wanting their share of fantasy-based profits
