Here's a link that shows SOME of the letter sorting machines. You can see some of the points that the minis will get crushed or lost in the machines.

That's just the BEGINNING of it, too, people.
The machines that your packages are sorted on? Fuggedabowdit!
If you're sending fragile things in the mail, you'd better package them accordingly. Your flimsy little box with carefully assembled models is not going to fare well when it's smashed between two 30 lb boxes at (what, kt?) about 35 mph!?

170 inches per second for letters.
Packages is faster than quick walking. 10-15 mph maybe.
