30% off, or "why bother".

Post by Doctari »

It might just be me but I'm seeing more and more offers for 30% off of retail for models. Most of the time they are not even NOS/NIB and they seller wants shipping.

Everyone on here is aware that with just a very little bit of effort you can purchase NIB items for 30% off retail with free shipping right? Obviously not going to list sites as that's against the site rules but I'm really confused as to who is buying old, put together models for 30% (or less in some cases) off of retail.
If we're trading: Lower ships first, even if its me.
If I'm buying: If you have a REASONABLE (>20) rating with no negatives, I'm paying first.
If I'm selling: You're paying first.
I always check Ebay before making/accepting offers. You should to. Fair market value >>>> "I feel they are worth X"

Offers good for 24hrs.

Well, well, well. If it isn't the consequences of my own actions.

I agree that I wouldn't buy them used at that, but get that some people think they are worth it.

While I agree with you regarding GW items other manufactures not so much. Supply and demand and all that.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

Have you read the site rules? viewtopic.php?f=44&t=45470 If not do so.

Definitely, referring to GW in this case in particular.

RE; Free shipping, it normally depends on how much you're buying. The break point seems to be in or around 300.
