Could use advice from Comic Con veterans

Post by MagickalMemories »

So, as it turns out, I'm going to Comic Con in Chicago this year. I've never been to one, and this case us as an unexpected thing.

Here's what I want to know... What MUST I Get/Buy/Do while I'm there (Comic Con, not Chicago)?
I've got tickets for 2 Norman Reedus events (a pic and the VIP thing with him and Michael Rooker). So, I'm covered on meeting Daryl from Walking Dead. LOL

What else MUST I know or do? For example:

-ABC company always have "Comic Con Only" items for sale that you can make a HUGE profit on by reselling on eBay!

-**SO-and-So** always goes to **this place** for dinner while at Comic Con. You can get a pic with him if you're there. He's really cool.

-XYZ always has a "do not miss" display at their booth. You HAVE to go there.

Things that are "must do/see/buy" for you might or might not be that way for me, but I'm interested in hearing EVERYTHING you guys want to suggest. You never know what might hit me and what I might get the chance to do. So, I'm all ears.

Thanks, guys.

Be on the lookout for strange events. I once fought the Ultimate Warrior in large-sized Rock'em Sock'em Robots and dunked Rob Liefeld for charity on 3 straight balls in a dunk tank. (I was second in line and the first to put him down. Image artist Jeff Matsuda was first and missed FIVE balls in a row!)

Sorry I can't be more specific, it's been a few years and I went as an exhibitor so if you can get one of those badges, do it. I got to eat chocolate-covered strawberries with Walter Koenig / Checkov in the exhibitor's break room.

Image used to be real good about having ashcan comics at their booths.
