@ bahumat - I actually stumbled by that online and was like "SWEET" since I had googled "Tyranid Alphabet".. and then I noticed it was Warmachine lol. The Khador and Cyngar symbols look Alien-like!

@MM - Very nice, make sure it's written in red paint!

Really? If any were alien I would go with Cryx or possibility Menoth as most alien like.

For bugs, you might consider Latin-izing your chosen nickname to represent the classification given to it by the Imperial Biologis.

"Tiny" would give you vegrandis or minutus--you could combine that with Hierophant/Hierophantus or Tyranid/Tyranidus for entertaining results.

Very interesting Sorrow!

Now all I have to do is figure how to "label" them.

The label maker popped in my head actually. I am just not sure how thin I can get a label maker to print.

Etched brass also popped in my head. The only thing is finding them thin enough to wrap around a base.

Research will be needed! When I find something I'll post a pic :D

There are a number that can print quite fine lettering--and you can trim down the tape with a sharp blade.

I name my models individually, IF there is less than 20 in the warband. I do NOT name my IG, Marines, Nids, etc.. but the western skirmish games and Necromunda do get individual names..
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

In generic (i.e. not pre-set characters) skirmish stuff like Mordheim and Necromunda, yeah, I named all my big shots, at least. Sergeants/squads used to get names, too.

Nowadays (huh... didn't realize that was one word), things generally only get names if they stand out (either something over the top for modeling, or often perform particularly well or poorly on the table).

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.

after 25 years at the same employer I look back and say who's that? or I wonder what they are up to now? or oh yeah the idiot that got himself fired for ...
