To drop or not to drop

Post by jason1977 »

I have seen many of people post not to drop painted armies. What about armies that are not even built? I have this 500 point IG police force. Neat little themed army that I made just for fun. Rumor has it a new IG book is due soon. WIth a 16 month old I havent been able to play many games in 6th and 6.5 is also rumored to be out soon. Has anyone regretted moving an army like this? I have plenty of storage space so I could box it and forget it for some time.

Thanks,
Jason

I've never felt bad about moving an army, painted or unpainted. I've felt bad about being unable to, however.
Once I make the decision to be done with it, then I'm done.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Only once have I felt bad about moving an army. Bought it a second time, sold it a second time.... Haven't felt bad about getting rid of an army ever since then.

As a father of a 2 and half year old and another one on the way in 3ish months I can tell ya its easy enough to move and recollect. I basically quit when 8th Ed fantasy came out but have gotten back in with little issue getting a new army on here (I still think 8th sucks). Big Key that I can tell ya though - find a hobby/something else to do. Conversing with a 2 year old will drive you insane

I've played and collected GW since RT. I've had every army for fantasy except Brets and VC; and every army for 40k except tau. I've sold everything once and repurchased it again.
Only thing I haven't been able to rebuy is epic. I sold it for dirt and now see it's trippled or more in price.
