Issue w/ The Bitz Barn

Post by Royals »

Has anyone else had an issue with ordering from the Bitz Barn? I ordered an Army Transport MkII on May 10th and it took several emails to find out that the item that shows as in stock on their website is in fact backordered. The Bitz Barn never told me my item was backordered until I sent multiple emails asking for an update on my order.

I honestly feel they're a very unprofessional company and they've certainly lost my patronage. I'm sorry for the rant but I felt that others should know about the bad experience I've had.

I'm surprised they are even in business still. Didn't GW go on a "holy" purge against bit stores?

I believe the purge doesn't happen until the 15th

According to their website they get all of their bits second hand so they don't violate the new GW rules.

Yeah, unfortunately they shouldn't have to obtain an Army Transport second hand. I highly doubt Sabol is cracking down on merchants carrying and selling their products.

+1 to this.

If your website says in stock and your out of stock, you should not only change it on your website but keep your customers up to date.

Im trying to get some DW Knights bits and my normal source sells them in groups of 5. BB sells them by the single and I asked how they get around GWs policy. Simple put is they dont buy from GW directly.
In an act of kindness and respect, please respond to PMs one way or the other with in a timely manner.

It's to the point that I've had to open a dispute with Pay Pal to get my money back. WTF Bitz Barn?

I have ordered bitz from them a few tiems - never had a problem. I will keep this in mind, though, next time.

- A simple 'not interested' to a trade offer is just being polite. It helps people setting up multiple trades know where they stand.
- Google something for someone, they get an answer. Teach someone how to Google their own answer, they own the Internet.

I finally received my money back, but only after getting Pay Pal involved. The Bitz Barn never once offered an apology or took responsibility. I've ordered from them before, but I definitely will not after this experience. There are plenty of other online retailers.

In the end, I opted to order a Shield Bag from Battle Foam. At least I know what to expect from them.
