Welcome to the new Bartertown.com!

Our new server is much faster, and we're very excited to hear what you think about the updates.

Server/Software Updates:
  • Operating System: - CentOS 5 to CentOS 7
  • phpBB - (forum software) 3.0.12 to 3.2.0
  • Server Hardware - We're now on an entirely new, dedicated server with twice the RAM and a Solid State Drive

Forum Changes:
  • RULES - Are now linked in the hotbar at the very top of the page, so they're easy to find. Also, you don't have any excuse for not reading them.
  • ITL Trade Ref System - Also located in the hotbar up top. If you don't see them immediately,
check under the Quick Links menu.
  • GW products have been condensed by genre. No more vacant, empty sub-forums dedicated to specialist games - those now belong in the GW Fantasy and Futuristic categories. Read the descriptions if you aren't sure where to post.
  • Collapse-able Sections - An awesome extension of the updated board, you can now collapse the categories you don't care about to make the forum smaller.
  • Announcements - Like this one! Did you know we were going down for maintenance and we had updates scheduled? Now you'll definitely be in the loop on future things that impact the site.
All the awesomeness aside, there may be bugs or issues that crop up as we settle in. Please check/post here about issues or if you have questions.

The Middle Tennessee Wargamers Club

Post by G_Keller » Sat Nov 26, 2011 1:35 am

Hope this is the right place to post this, a "Club" section would be cool on the forum, but it might take up too much bandwidth..any way..

As the title of the post says “ The Middle Tennessee Wargamers Club” is a new club that will basically serve the counties of Coffee, Franklin, Grundy and Warren in Middle Tennessee. Now this does not mean that people from all over Tennessee cannot join or play we welcome anyone who loves to War game.

We formed the club due to the majority of our members living in rural areas and having trouble finding players in our area as well as many of us having to drive almost an hour to play at a store.

At present we play one time a month, in Viola Tennessee at the Viola community center, the cost to play is $5.00 for all day. The doors open at 10 am and gaming ends at 8 pm at this point the date varies due to scheduling of the Community Center.

Other than that there is no club fees or dues, at present we do not have a website but gaming days are scheduled and announced on our Facebook page located here

At present we play 40K and WHFB but are open to any TT Miniature Games.
If you have questions please feel free to contact us via FB or here.
