New FOW Rules?

Post by friar.tuck » Thu Feb 02, 2012 8:05 pm

Anyone had a chance to see the new FOW rules yet?

FOW's new Quick Reference guide for v.3 is here: http://www.flamesofwar.com/Portals/0/Do ... eGuide.pdf . Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on what is going to change strategy-wise? Force composition-wise? Looks like there are really beefing up the use (and thus sales as well, no doubt) of transports... assault rules have changed... I haven't seen the full rule set yet... any insight out there?
Respectfully,

Friar.Tuck

Many of us got the V3 books from web stores in UK as they were giving them for free with any FoW orders...

I am reading it just now. I love the third Ed, many things got cleared up and you're right, assault, airplanes and movements are the main things that were rewritten.

Looking forward to play V3 soon in my league.
