small scale dragons 6mm,10mm, 15mm

Post by Napoleon »

I am looking for a small scale dragon that would work with 6mm or 10mm scale depending on what I decide to go with. I did not know if a 15mm scale dragon would look out of place. Then I thought I remembered some smaller dragons by TSR, Citadel, or Ral Partha but I do not recall their size so I am over on Ebay trawling for dragons. Any suggestions or pics would be great. I believe Irregular Miniatures makes a dragon for 6mm scale. TIA!

maybe you can find some dragons from uncharted seas? I think the elven faction has flying dragons, but I do not know what size they are.. there is also a dragon fig in the Dreadfleet game...

Grenadier had a line of them http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/grenad ... s-6mm.html , sadly OOP now and when they turn up on ebay not cheap either. Still need a few to finish my collection.

Microworld has a 6mm bone dragon http://www.microworldgames.com/collecti ... one-dragon

Irregular does have a dragon, code CR1, no picture on their site. I think this is it http://6mm.wargaming.info/images/fantasy/mon3.jpg . good site for 6mm fantasy

Pendraken miniatures has 3 10mm dragons, only one pictured tho http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Search.aspx? ... ords=False
Of course GW has their warmaster dragons in 10mm

Irregular miniatures also does a 15mm dragon code FCR6, no pic

Demonworld has some 15mm dragons

Splintered Light mins has a 15mm range http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/dragons.html, now these are the old Metal Magic dragons and the range was 25mm so these might be a bit too big. Unless you need a really old ancient dragon

I may be forgetting a few but these should give you a start I think.

I think my dad has most of the grenadier one listed by imp522. If you're interested in them I can ask him. If I remember correctly, thet came 2 per blisters and they might even still be in original packaging.
info about shipping: Lower ratting pays/ship first and I live in Canada.
thank you

Games Workshop makes a tiny dragon to be used as a 28mm wizard's familiar, it would probably work as a full grown dragon on a smaller game scale:

They also make a wide range of (mostly hero-ridden) dragons in 10mm for Warmaster:

Thread rez'ing...
If you are still looking, dragons from the DDM line can definitely work, hatchlings should work as standard dragons while adult versions could totally work as Gargantuan / Colossal versions. There are also certain Japanese "Trading Art" figures that may work as well.

I have some photos comparing various figures - basing size as per a Mechwarror Clix infantry (it measures 10mm from head to toe).
