a paypal dispute has been filed #PP-001-168-175-185 i did wait 7 days after they tried to contact him via email before i made it a claim. the claim takes 30 days. which in my eyes is just beyond logic. i could have just went through my bank direct and this would have been taken care of in 2-24hrs? but i gave this trader the doubt maybe something happened etc that we dont know about. either way hes not responded to any type of message or email.

Also, just a quick FYI:
If you paid via debit card or bank transfer you are, unfortunately, incorrect.
Technically, you didn't pay HIM. You paid PayPal to send him money (the way the transaction is structured within the banking system). So, the bank is going to look at it to see if PayPal did wat it promised, not him. When they see that PayPal did keep their promise, they're going to refuse your claim.
Seen it happen a LOT.
Sadly, unless you went via credit card, PayPal disputes are your ONLY option.
Even credit cards aren't guaranteed, in my experience... but they're the only ones I remember EVER seeing get reimbursed.

act that is all the messages that ever were sent back and fourth? my bank credit card is attached to my own merchant account. i have my own bizz which is really a diff sit compared to the above info you listed. l8rs

after paypal waited another 10 days for him to reply he failed to. dispute was closed and all money refunded or more like yanked out of his account.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
