BTR SanguineAngel - Simon Fielding-Resolved via paypal

Good evening gentlemen. From my thread (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=176317&p=342669#p342669) looking for some Ork miniatures I was contacted by SanguineAngel with a few items he was looking to get rid of. I asked for a price quote on a few things and liked what I saw so a week later when I got paid I asked if they were still available for sale. SanguineAngel said that they were and we set up the deal. I was unsure of who would make the first move in the transaction so I asked and we agreed I'd pay first and then he'd ship and notify me when they shipped. He gave me his PayPal information and after I paid later that day he told me he'd notify me when it shipped. It has been 7 days since I last heard from him, and after contacting an admin for the site, I was told to file a BTR and PayPal dispute. So here's the BTR.

Here are all of our communications through PM, and my original thread is listed above. I'm missing 2 PMs, one where he responds to my thread listing what he had for sale with pictures, and the other where I ask for price quotes. I don't really see these being missing a concern because our other communications seem to fit the rules stated in the BRT rule thread defining what entails a trade / purchasing agreement. My PMs are BLUE, SanguineAngel's PMs are RED. The last time he's been on the site was Monday morning. If any other information is needed let me know. Thank you sirs.

Okay, this is my first trade here, so I'm not 100% sure on the method. I'd assume I pay and once you get payment you get my shipping info and send it off.

Hey, It's been a week since I've heard from you last. I know you were logged in Monday (board time, it may have been Sunday night or Tuesday your time) because my last message is no longer in my outbox. Maybe something is going on in your life or some sort of emergency is preventing you from shipping, but I'm going to need some sort of response from you stating the hold up. If I don't get a tracking number and some proof of shipment by Saturday (72 hours from the time this message is sent) I'll be filing a Bad Trader Report and a PayPal dispute to get my money back.

Please, include all information on him, including the PayPal address. The only information that should be left out is your contact info (address, email address, ph #) and his ph#.
It can be an important tool in locating him.

Hi! I too bought something from him and he told me they shipped last week - I'll file a separate BTR if it gets to that. I just wanted to point out:

Is it possible to see what users have messaged him? To perhaps see if the people who bought those items received theirs?

Additionally, his Paypal address is a NON-US Verified. In the second post he clearly states Location: UK. I too was told they would be shipped through his work so that could mean anything in terms of shipping time.

Yea, reading through you're links I'm not very optimistic. I'll wait until Saturday to escalate my PayPal claim, but over a week and no communication is very strange. A suggestion from one of those threads is to Tinyeye or Google Reverse Image search photos he's posted in his thread to see if they pop up anywhere else. Could be an easy way to catch someone using a random picture off another website to use as scam material.

You should always file a PayPal claim earlier rather than later. You can always retract it if everything turns out copacetic, but the longer you wait, the more likely he is to take all of the money out of the account. Then you get a fun message from PayPal that says they sided with you, but he has no funds available with which to refund you.

Found him using IP's in the following ranges:

183.0.0.0-183.255.255.255

171.5.0.0-171.5.255.255

Both of these ranges use a Thai internet service.

The user has been banned, due to the overwhelming evidence.

Where did you post your BTR? I don't see any posts on the site from you but the one I just quoted.

if you've got a trade gone bad with him via BTown, please post a BTR.
