My browser's suddenly calling Bartertown an Attack Site
Anyone else have this?
A few trade guidlines:
1) If your feedback is significantly lower, I expect you to ship first, even if I'm buying- Money carries greater risks than minis: I can't buy groceries with a box of Tac Marines!
2) Communication is key! I'm a reasonable guy (I try,) so if there's a problem, tell me!
3) I package things well, you should do the same. Protect minis from each other, too.
4) Leave feedback!

Ditto. Every single time I hit the site, I get the warning.

Re: My browser's suddenly calling Bartertown an Attack Site
Happened to me all yesterday, and this morning it looks good to my browser.
I know Lin and Plarz worked on the issue late last night, but I don't actually know what the specific issue WAS.
When I do, I or another staffer will let you all know!

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Which browser was tossing the warnings?

Re: My browser's suddenly calling Bartertown an Attack Site
Alright, he's my 2 cents after poking around stopbadware.org:
Its not so much that bartertown is registered as bad, as it has not passed their test battery.
Both of the bartertown sites are in the "neutral" category at stopbadware.org. I've attached a picture.
"Sites with an uncolored icon O are not currently being reported to StopBadware as bad. An uncolored icon should not, however, be interpreted as meaning that a site is clean – it simply means that none of our partners are currently reporting the site as bad."
Depending on the criteria, bartertown will probably pass. My guess is that the original negative rating from stopbadware.org was from the large quantity of update emails that bartertown sends out.

Re: My browser's suddenly calling Bartertown an Attack Site
For whatever reason, Google flagged us as having malware.
As soon as this was brought to my attention, I contacted our host and had them run a scan. They found absolutely nothing.
I contacted Google, gave them this information, and asked them for a review of the site. They've since dropped the issue, and we are no longer flagged as having malware.
I do not know why this happened, but it would appear Google's trying to take over the world, and we got in the way. We've since stepped aside, and I, for one, welcome our new multi-colored overlords.
Crisis: Averted.

I use Google Chrome, and did not have any problems over the weekend. Odd - usually I am the bad website canary.

I use Google Chrome and yesterday it threw up a badware warning page everytime I tried to come here. It stopped this morning.
Being the cautious fellow that I am, I ignored the warnings.
